Why it’s so unique?

Japanese sword making
The symbol of ancient Samurai warriors is the traditional Japanese sword. These swords are made from Tamahagane, using the ancient iron making process, Tatara. Okuizumo is the only place in the world that still uses this method, which has been passed down through the genera tions.
Japanese rice brand : “Nita-mai”
Nita-mai is one of the most famous rice brands in Japan. The town’s mountain location leads to changes in temperature, which is ideal for cultivating high quality rice.
Onsen : Skin beautifying hot springs
Okuizumo has three onsen areas known as the Bihada Onsen Kyou (Skin Beautifying Hot Spring Village). These onsen areas are famous for their alkaline rich waters, which not only offer a relaxing experience but also provide multiple skin benefits.
